Извещают о проведении Всероссийской научной конференции с международным участием «МОДЕРНИЗАЦИЯ РОССИИ И КИТАЯ: СРАВНИТЕЛЬНЫЙ АНАЛИЗ».
Конференция состоится 24-26 ноября 2011 года на факультете политологии СПбГУ. Предлагается обсудить следующие проблемы:
- Теоретические концепции модернизации в современной политической науке и социологии;
- Цивилизационные особенности в социально-экономическом и социально-политическом развитии России и Китая;
- Политическая культура и проблемы модернизации России и Китая;
- Исторический опыт модернизации России и Китая;
- Россия и Китай перед современными вызовами модернизации;
- Экономические и политические аспекты модернизации в условиях современных России и Китая;
- Модернизация России и Китая в контексте процессов глобализации;
- Двухсторонние отношения как фактор модернизации России и Китая.
Заявки на участие в конференции с указанием темы доклада и авторской
справкой присылать до 20 сентября 2011 года. Тезисы докладов высылать не
позднее 30 сентября 2011 года. Заявки на участие в конференции и тезисы присылать по адресу: proc@politology.pu.ru
Текст следует выполнять в редакторе Microsoft Word: шрифт - Times New Roman, размер - 14, межстрочный интервал - 1,5, поля страницы: верхнее и нижнее - по 2 см, правое - 1 см, левое - 3 см. Объем тезисов не должен превышать 6000 знаков. В правом верхнем углу указать инициалы и фамилию автора, в круглых скобках название города: например И.И.Иванов (Санкт-Петербург). На следующей строке по центру название тезисов. Ссылки в конце текста. Не допускаются подстраничные сноски, нумерация страниц и другие колонтитулы.

Glad to inform about the forthcoming All-Russia scientific conference with the international participation: «The Modernization of Russia and China: a comparative analysis».
The conference will be held on November, 24-26, 2011 at the Faculty of Political Studies of St-Petersburg State University.
The following issues are invited to discuss:
- The theoretical concepts of modernization in contemporary political science and sociology;
- Civilizational peculiarities in socio-economical and socio-political development of Russia and China;
- The historical experience of modernization in Russia and China;
- The political culture and modernization of Russia and China;
- Russia and China face the current challenges of modernization;
- Economical and political aspects of modernization in Russian and Chinese contemporary environment;
- The modernization of Russia and China in the context of globalization;
- Bilateral relationship as an agent of Russian and Chinese modernization
The application (indicating author's name, academic degree, position, e-mail, title of the paper) should be sent before, September, 20, 2011. Deadline for submission of abstracts: September, 30, 2011.
The applications and abstracts should be submitted to the Organizing Committee to the following address: proc@politology.pu.ru
The abstracts should not exceed 6000 characters, should be complied as MS Word 1997-2003 document, font – Times New Roman, font size – 14, line spacing – 1,5; page margins: the upper and the lower – 2 cm, the right – 1cm, the left – 3 cm. The author’s name and the city (in round brackets) should be specified in the upper right corner of the page. The title of abstracts should be on the next line in the centre. References should be at the end of the text. Footnotes, pagination and other headers and footers are not allowed.
